Our 2024 Highlights

This year at Autofinity, we’ve had a great year working hand in hand with our client and partners. Our highlights include the launch of our new product – ViSOURCE; data set enhancement with real impact on sales prices; we rolled out PiHUB to several dealerships empowering ecommerce for accessories and parts; we hosted a well-attended seminar at AM Live; and we won a Motor Trader Award. Bring on 2025!

ViSOURCE Launched

When sourcing used cars from a variety of vendors, car buyers have to navigate numerous platforms each with their own page displays, descriptions and rating systems. ViSOURCE aggregate all this data into one system making it easy to compare vehicles, prices, spec and condition. It means used car buyers can compare vehicles across platforms rather than navigating from one to another.

The latest development is a further step on our journey as we continue to increase partnerships and enhance integrations to enable retailers to consolidate even more daily operations from one hub.

Auto Trader Connect

We completed our integration with Auto Trader Connect earlier this year. Users of our Retail management platform, which pools vehicle data from multiple systems to provide a single accurate inventory source, can view Auto Trader’s vehicle rating enabling rapid pricing to market without switching applications.

Auto Trader’s price indicator, which highlights whether a car is a low, great, good, fair or high price, can now be viewed simultaneously alongside other vital vehicle information allowing for timely data amends in just one place.

We won! We were crowned Motor Trader Industry Awards IT Innovation of The Year winners!

AM Live

A big thank-you to all of you who visited us at our stand at AM Live this year and who came to our session ‘the five essentials of good stock management’. Our CEO Andy Whitehair was joined by Sam Luscombe, sales director at Luscombe Motors, and Alex Jones, chief operations director at West Country independent used car supermarket Carbase for our sponsored session which formed part of AM Live’s annual event on 13 November at Birmingham’s NEC.

Data Enhancements

Our dev team undertakes data enhancement work continually and this year its achievements has enabled manufacturers and dealers to boost new and used car ratings and improve speed of sale on classified websites.

As an example, one vehicle priced at £55,300 was rated as a ‘fair’ price by Auto Trader but the same car at the same price with all the data enhancements and features incorporated was listed as a ‘good’ price when uploaded via our platform. Because the vehicle was more richly described, the Auto Trader system calculated a £1,778 price improvement which resulted in the different rating.

PiHUB Success

Cambria Automobiles and Ancaster were among dealership groups live with Autofinity’s revolutionary automated parts and accessories ecommerce platform PiHUB.

Cambria’s roll-out followed a five-fold increase in JLR accessories sold in the first month of the system’s operation with an average transaction value of £560. Ancaster, which represents six brands at 12 locations in south and west London, Surrey, Kent and Berkshire, launched PiHUB with an average transaction at an impressive £367 in its very early days.

Our PiHUB solution automates online accessories retailing with only picking, packing and posting requiring manual intervention from dealership staff. The platform collates and uploads OEM accessories and parts data and integrates with marketplaces including Amazon, eBay and Shopify as well as the group’s own website.

Breeze Motor Group

We welcomed Breeze Motor Group on board with ViHUB in July. With Volkswagen centres in Poole, Southampton and Portsmouth as well as commercial vehicles, the group became a Suzuki dealer in 2022 and added Ducati Bournemouth to its growing portfolio in 2023. As the group expanded, its senior management team was faced with a common problem – the lack of oversight of the entire business due to multiple systems in operation - tackled by our ViHUB platform.

Since ViHUB has been live, the group has experienced a 12% uplift in sales. Greater visibility of stock, more time to focus on selling vehicles and looking after customers rather than managing the stock, uploading vehicles for sale and manually making changes to prices or mileages on several different platforms, has had a significant impact on the team’s selling success.

Two years with Hendy Group

2024 marked two years supporting Hendy Group with its 20 automotive brands and 70 franchise locations.

Norton Way

Autofinity’s Transform Consulting was appointed to undertake a systems audit for Norton Way Group to gain understanding and oversight of the multiple applications the group had in place. The audit identified the systems in operation, processes undertaken and any gaps left open.

50+ integrations

We are continually growing our partnerships with over 50 manufacturers, marketing agencies and third-party portals integrated via our retail platform including Auto Trader Connect, Carwow, Heycar and major DMS providers.
