The aftermarket sector is a valuable part of the automotive industry and contributes £12.5 billion to the UK economy annually. Therefore it is only fitting to recognise the people and organisations within it which are going above and beyond for their customers and clients.
The recent Workshop Magazine Awards have highlighted the most outstanding people, companies and workshops operating within the sector.
One of Autofinity Parts’ partners, Euro Car Parts, was awarded Motor Factor of the Year. OEM Parts Supplier of the Year was awarded to Nissan, with Manufacturer of the Year going to Honda UK. There were several regional winners of the Independent Garage of the Year, however the overall award went to Anderson Clark Motor Repairs, which did exceptionally well in a mystery shopper scenario.
The Awards were presented by British F1 legend Johnny Herbert and sponsored by the Independent Garage Association. James Baggott, Founder and Publisher of Workshop Magazine, said: “The aftermarket industry is hugely important to the UK economy, generating billions for the treasury and supporting hundreds of thousands of jobs.
“But it’s also an industry where people matter and make a real difference. In judging the hundreds of nominations for these awards from across the country we’ve heard so many stories about individuals and businesses that go above and beyond on a daily basis.
“The Workshop Awards were created to honour their commitment, hard work and passion.”
